What’s up, folks? Many of you are wondering what the exact details of the donations, prizes, live show and overall the entire Inner City Dreams foundation are. This, right here, is everything that you need to know.
-The Cause-
You can read the post below entitled “What We’re About” by Pat and I to see what motivated us to do this. But the most important thing to know is that Inner City Dreams was created in Chicago to help sick kids in Chicago’s Children’s Hospitals. With the money that we raise this holiday season (The goal is $2,000 by December 18th), We will purchase video game systems, video games, toys, clothes, books, magazines…WHATEVER these kids want or need to pass the time.
-The Donations-
We have available to your right (and on www.tqcast.com) a “donate here” button that will take you directly to our secure PayPal account in which you can donate anywhere from a penny to a few hundred dollars. The moment you donate, not only will your name appear on the front page of this site as a sponsor, but you will be entered into our huge raffle that will happen on a LIVE STREAMING show on Friday, December 18th, in which you can win any of the dozens of prizes that we will have donated from our many sponsors. Also, every person that donates will receive an autographed BMI sticker (www.bmitv.com) by the founders of Inner City Dreams, Patrick Pryor and myself, Simon D. Ivanoff.
-The Future-
Although the focus is on the holiday season of 2009, Patrick and I are going big with Inner City Dreams. Not only will we bring back the holiday fundraiser in 2010 (Hopefully branching out to another city or two), but our biggest ambition is to extend the reach of Inner City Dreams’ helping hand to being a year-round Community-Aiding Charity.
If you grew up in a city that was dirty, gang-infested, crowded and dangerous, then you know what we are talking about when we say that these kids could use our help. A multi-million dollar foundation is not going to reach a tiny community in a small urban area, but rather give money to established organizations and charities. What we are doing is local, personal, and most importantly, we are cutting out the middleman.
Help us spread the word, and if you could afford to get involved in any way possible, it would be much appreciated by not only the kids that we’re helping out, but by Patrick and myself.
Thank you again, and let’s help make some kids’ holidays!

ReplyDeleteIt's always a great thing when you can find a calling higher than your own. I commend you both on your initiative- you have my support and that of The Gamesmen.
